Meet Mrs. Scott
I have lived in Bloomington most of my life. I am married, have two children, and three cats. Some of my favorite things to do in my spare time are traveling, reading, learning, and spending time with my family.
I graduated from Illinois State University in 2003. My first two years of teaching were at Blooming Grove Academy. I began teaching in District 87 in 2005 at Stevenson Elementary. In 2007 I taught 6th grade at BJHS. The next year brought me back home to Stevenson.
I am proud and honored to be part of your educational life. Students who are active learners and know they are in charge of their learning will reach their fullest potential. I have a lot of experience and will do everything I can to help you, but I can't do it alone. One of my favorite sayings I have read is: "If you don't want to learn, no one can make you. If you want to learn, no one can stop you."
